Protecting Your Family, Assets, and Legacy
Estate planning is the process of preparing for the future by creating legal documents that protect you, your family, and your assets. It helps ensure your wishes are carried out, provides for loved ones, and allows trusted individuals to make financial or healthcare decisions on your behalf if you become unable to do so. Estate planning can include wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives tailored to your unique needs and goals. Planning for your future is one of the most important gifts you can give your loved ones. At the Weikel Law Firm, we help Colorado individuals and families create personalized estate plans that reflect their goals, values, and unique circumstances.

Our approach is personal, thoughtful, and focused on giving clients confidence and peace of mind for the future.
Sharon Weikel
Sharon has devoted herself to helping individuals and families navigate estate planning and related matters with care and compassion. Estate planning has been part of Sharon’s life from the very beginning—her father was an estate planning attorney in New Jersey, and as a child she loved visiting his office whenever she could. That early exposure helped inspire a lifelong commitment to serving clients through thoughtful planning and trusted legal guidance.
Licensed in Colorado since 1996, Sharon has also actively practiced in New Jersey and California. In addition to her legal practice, Sharon has been actively involved in her community, previously serving on the boards of the United Cerebral Palsy Association and the Denver Chapter of the Executive Women’s Golf Association. She and her family have also opened their home as host parents to foreign exchange students from Germany and Spain and have volunteered with various church and community organizations over the years.
Tamara Schulte
Tamara advises individuals and families throughout Colorado on estate planning matters, including trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and related planning tools. She works closely with clients to develop thoughtful, personalized plans designed to protect loved ones, preserve assets, and provide clarity and peace of mind for the future.
Prior to transitioning her practice, Tamara spent years in franchise law and regulatory compliance, including serving as Senior Franchise Counsel at a major international real estate brand. In that role, she led U.S. franchise regulatory efforts, advised on multi-state compliance, and supported global expansion initiatives. Drawing on her extensive legal, regulatory, and transactional background, Tamara brings a practical, detail-oriented approach to client representation. She understands the importance of clear communication and trusted guidance when clients are making significant personal and financial decisions.
Tamara lives in Colorado, is admitted to the Colorado Bar, and holds a J.D. from the University of Denver. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, attending golf tournaments (especially when her favorite player—aka her son—is on the course), and hanging out with her two dogs, including a mischievous puppy who keeps everyone on their toes.
